Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2008 Audi A4 (B8 Model) Saloon EPB Malfunction Query

Hey All, quick question. Had rear brake pads and discs replaced just yesterday morning in the car. Drove away all fine. I was parked in town about an hour ago and when I went to drive away the Electronic Parking Break Malfunction indicator came up on the dash along with the light blinking on the switch as the brake went to release automatically (as it should). I stopped the car and applied the EPB again using the switch (as I would) manually and the indicator remained. So I drove out of the car park to a less populated area to do some tests.

I pulled up, applied the EPB, and then while pressing the foot brake, I manually released the EPB (using the switch) and the indicator finally went away. I had the window rolled down and could hear it releasing fully. When I applied EPB again, it applied with no issue.

So now the issue seems to have gone alway. I'm concerned that this might have been something just temporary or do you think there is something I should return to the dealer with just in case this turns out to be an expensive issue I could have avoided?

    Thanks
