Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Macbook Battery 2008 Unibody

Macbook battery has been shot for a while and need to have laptop plugged in constantly to use it these days which is a real pain. Can't see replacement batteries on Apple.ie and I emailed CompuB to see if they stocked replacements and they told me that Apple consider this model laptop 'Vintage' and as such do not stock replacement batteries.

Fairly poor from Apple if you ask me considering they're very quick to warn against the apparent danger of using third party batteries. Laptop is working perfectly and only recently upgraded RAM.

Anyone know where I can get my hands on a reliable replacement? Wouldn't mind paying a few bob for a reasonable quality one. Honestly thought the battery would be the same as used in the later edition unibody Macbooks but apparently not.
