My mother wants an android phone. Both of the phones in the thread title are €129 on O2. When she asked in O2 and the Carphone Warehouse they both suggested the Samsung would be better for her as a new android user. I had originally told her the HTC is a newer phone, more internal storage, more powerful processor, etc

So basically, the question is - Did the guys in the shop have a point or were they just trying to sell an older phone which might not be for sale much longer? Is there any advantage to having the Samsung over the HTC?
