Router needed.

Hi. got new laptop lately from Dell it has a Dell wireless 1390802 11b/g Mini-card-Europe installed. We have internet on home pc.from a cable modem. What type of router do I need to get to be able to go on line from the laptop in any room around the house. No mansion normal s/d. Greatful for all help received.

Maybe consider a router that has VoIP as well at this stage such as the AVM Fritz!Box. These can be connected using the broadband from your cable router. Then you will have telephones as well if you don't already.

I'd also give a vote of confidence for the wrt54g.
Much better range than other wireless routers I've used and a lot of handy little functions etc.
Very reliable kit.
