Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rather than posting a question related to how to carry out a certain task in excel i'm having trouble with, I would like to know if any of you are aware of resources for learning some of the more complicated features of Excel such as formulae?

I have been using Excel everyday in work for a year, but have never come to terms with how to use formula?

Keep an eye on the main bargain alerts forum, there is a thread there on free udemy courses and there are excel ones every now again - obviously not all are top quality but one of them should get you started

On YouTube, look up 'ExcelIsFun'. Huge collection of well put together videos with downloadable exercises.

Do an evening course covering Microsoft Office Specialist levels maybe? Or just Excel Specialist? I'm just finishing my MOS qualification. Pretty handy to have. GMetrix is the software we use to prepare for our exams, gives you little scenarios in the relevant piece of software and asks you to carry out one task at a time. It's a decent way to practice formulas. You'd have to buy access to it I think, but if you're taking a course the training center/organization provides you with them.
