Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A mate was questioned as he was sitting in his (stopped car) he was not driving at the time by Garda. His car was seized by Garda. Property in boot of car was also seized. Car was given back next day no charges. However the Property that was in the boot of car was no returned. He has been told "Police Property Act" by Garda. Now from the seven items seized only 3 have been "Recorded" as seized. What can be done to retrive the lost items ?

    items ?

    I'd say nothing.

You may have seen the head of the gardaí saying it was disgusting even airing allegations of mis-conduct by the cops.

I'd get the names of the cops who were involved in the seizure, an subsequent, and forward a complaint to the garda ombudsman.

At least if repeated complaints are made about the same gardaí, there may be action taken.
