Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can't post image on After Hours

    Just wondering why I'm not allowed to post images or gifs on After Hours. The insert image button doesn't appear when I post. I'm a reputable poster and have not received one ban or infraction in my time here... :confused:

    It's weird, they show up on the touch version but can't be posted in AH on the main site.

    So to clarify nobody can post gifs or images in after hours or have I been banned from doing so unbeknownst to myself?

    If you put wrap image tags around the pic, it will show up on the touch site.

    Sorry for bumping this, but rather here and create a new thread I suppose...

    Just merely a curiosity - but is there any reason as to WHY images aren't allowed on After Hours ?

    I imagine from the immaturity of people there often, people had posted unsavoury pictures in the past ?

    I think the explanation given before is that due to the nature of AH discussion, allowing images would result into threads being filled with lolcat (or other meme) replies.

    The serious explanation is the After Hours forum went through a period of being targeted by porn spammers with some seriously nasty threads being put up with hardcore porn piccies embedded. As far as I know that was when the function was disabled for After Hours a fair number of years ago.
