American fridge freezer

Help needed please, I accidentally burst a hole in our freezer while chipping ice away!! :'( all the Gas leaked out. Can it be repaired & replaced? Its a good fridge, an american Whirlpool one so will be expensive to buy a new one .

Unless the puncture hole is very small and you unplugged the unit after puncturing it its terminal, even if its a small hole you will need are refrigeration guy with special equipment to repair it, an expensive lesson but I have rarely come across a customer who repeated the procedure.
