    Hi all,

We are looking to get a hardwood front door put in ahead of the winter. I'm finding difficulty in getting decent recommendations on where to get the door and installers.

If you have any recommendations or there are companies to avoid I would be grateful if you could send me a PM (to stay within forum rules).

    Many thanks.

I'd look at a composite front door as opposed to a hardwood door.

    Hi,

The reason I'm installing a hardwood one is we will be building a porch next year which will have a composite door. Effectively our new front door will soon become an internal door.
