Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sound problems on Advent laptop

Got an Advent laptop recently and very happy with how it's working out apart from one feature - the sound. Went to watch a video on it at the weekend and, for whatever reason, there was no sound. I initially thought the file might have been the problem but I played a similar file which I knew worked perfectly and there was no sound on that either.

Switched it on again yesterday evening and sound was working fine at first. Half an hour later, same problem again. I didn't adjust any of the speaker settings and yet there was no sound being heard. Restarted it, sound working fine, gone again after 20 minutes. Tried every menu under Sound in Control Panel and couldn't find any reason why it was acting up.

Am I missing a trick or have I been sold a dud? All help is greatly appreciated! :)
