Pierce Turner plays one night in the Furze Bush Bistro on Glentworth St. Friday May 20th. This is part of his Irish tour in support of his new album 'The Boy to be With'. You can check out his material on The View with John Kelly tonight on RTE 1 or at www.pierceturner.com

He played here last year and the gig was amazing. His new album is a rockier effort than his most recent offerings, with influences ranging from The Byrds to The Pogues, The Beach Boys and The Who. According to Tony Clayton-Lea in the Irish Times, the album is "a supremely good and engagingly ragged package from a man who continues to surprise, with songs that release a slow-burning emotive virus it's impossible not to be infected by."

Tickets are €20 and seating is limited so advance booking is essential. Contact Mike at 086 8116984 for tickets. Doors at 8.30pm.
