Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kent Station in Cork is still a pit

I was in there the other day. Honestly, if there is anywhere that needs an upgrade, then thats the place. Seriously, the markets where they sell cattle are in better condition than this place.

Hasnt a plan been on the table for at least 10 years? Seems to me a typical case of ass-backwards Irish planning, procrastination and stalling going on.

Anyone got any news on this or pictures of any proposed plans?

Write to or speak to the Station Master. They might share your loathing of the state of the place, and might be able to give you an idea of the plans and timeframe.

i can't say it was that bad when i was there last year. the building itself is in good nick, the toilets need some seeing to though and the car park could do with a lick of asphalt

i was more worried about the vertical movement in the rails as the trains rolled in
