Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I was entertaining some guests at the weekend and was getting some after dinner tea when I noticed threre wasnt a jug in the house to offer the milk in.
    I had to offer to put the milk in for them out of sight but this was turned down by disconcerning guests, I had to put the 3 ltr bottle of milk on the table.
    This got me talking to the OH and she said we dont need a jug.
    What does AHs think?
    Jugs or no jugs?

    I also need a milk jug, when we had our housewarming party I had to serve the milk in a teapot from my daughter's teaset. It was a typical Dutch coffee and cake afternoon with saucers and doilies and cake forks so dumping the 2 litre jug in the middle of the coffee table wouldn't have gone down well.

    Buy a jug.

    Pop the milk carton up on the table. Say jokingly 'Excuse the waterford crystal jug' and you'll be fine. No need for anything else.

    There is nothing wrong with the carton. Sure its more sense then filling a jug only to empthy it back into the carton when done
