Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm hoping to bring my eldrely parents to BORD GAIS THEATRE for a musical.
I was hoping for some advice on what seats to pick? I'd like them to get a good view

I think this is going to be a pure preference thing and dependent on you and your parents.

Personally I like to be level or slightly higher than the stage - so I will always go to the dress circle, and I always like to be on the aisle.

I'd advise you to ring the theatre and speak to the staff there, they can provide insight into the best seats based on the requirements for your parents. I know it may sound ridiculous, but having worked in theatres I've seen patrons get visibly stressed out & upset with the thoughts of dealing with steps,or needing extra leg room or a requirement to be close to bathrooms. Dealing with it on the night with the rest of the audience milling around typically makes the situation worse, so best to give the folks at Bord Gais a ring +353 (1) 677 7999 or drop them an email justask@bgetheatre.ie
