Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Just want to get your thoughts on it. Just want to confirm my suspicions.

    Sounds like a scam - I had the same type of email - oceanographer, birthday present, pickup agent, western union for something I was selling on buyandsell.ie about a year ago......

    Yeah its a fairly well known scam.
    Who actually falls for these things? Surely the scammers can come up with something more believable!

    Listen to Joe Duffy. Plenty of people fall for them. Some of them are even worse than the op's one.
