Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got a new Asus laptop around last October with Windows 8 and it has an ordinary screen. I wonder is it possible to convert it to a touchscreen i.e. substitute the current screen? Easy enough DIY job?

Possible, probably. Easy DIY job, no. It's not just as simple as swapping out the old screen for the new screen. You will need a controller for the touch screen, drivers to enable Windows to register touches, etc. and a compatible motherboard. You'd probably be better off selling your current laptop and buying a new one with a touchscreen or something like the Surface.
