Advice on OPF and applying for FiS

    Hi iv read through posts but still confused. I am on OPF with two kids and have just got a job for 19.5 hours a week i will be getting 160 pw from work. I also recieve 50pw from maintenance. I am not in receipt of rent allowance

    Does anyone know how much fis roughly i would be entitled as im confused? All help apreciated :)

    what you do is add your total opf + 160+ 50

    then you take the total away from 602 divide that total by 100 and multiply by 60 and that's how much fis you will get

    eg 188+29.80+29.80 = 247.60

    247.60+160+ 50= 457.60

    602-457.60= 144.40

    144.40 divide by 100 x 60=86.64

    so fis=86.64
