Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Web interface to google talk/jabber (no javascript)

    I'm trying to code an interface to the jabber protocol which will accessible through a web page and which does not use javascript/ajax to communicate to the server.

    The idea it to enable a bit of time wasting on google talk from work (through a web page on a non blocked server), where all jabber servers and web interfaces are blocked by the firewall.

    I have looked at jabber.py and xmpppy as python modules to use simplify everything and really I'm just wondering does anyone have any experience using these modules or have a better (simpler) way to achieve this.
