Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've just read on Google News that an Irish Archbishop has been made cardinal and came here for my first time on Boards to get the straight-dope on the news (as the article didn't have his name).

But there doesn't seem to be a thread on it.

Not news-worthy ? Not what this forum is for?

Hello Ponster, yes it's good news. By all accounts Sean Brady is a down-to-earth decent man. God bless him.

BTW, there's a shortage of Catholics around here :)

    God bless,
    Noel.
