Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello all,

doing a revamp of a bathroom and want a new electric shower. Its has to be gravity / tank fed.

Tiles are dark and I want to avoid a white shower if at all possible.

Does anyone know of a good quality shower in either gun metal / black / slate or colour that would suit? One that is relatively quiet too?

I had picked out (and nearly bought) a Triton Aspirante in gun metal which was ideal but just realised this isn't suitable.

Really appreciate all help in narrowing down options, thanks! :)

Any thoughts on using the Triton Aspirante and combining it with Triton t450i single impellar pump?....

All very quiet in here.. :)
Just in case this thread might pop up on a search for anyone else, the Trition T90 range do a satin / chrome finish, Mira Elite ST are suitable and for something swanky.. Mira Platinum.

Fitted a Triton Aspirante and wasn't impressed by its performance.
The homeowner ordered it but was very disappointed by its power, it did look great on the shower wall though.

Thanks for that ccsolar. I've toying with the idea of the Mira Platinum - trying to justify the price though is the hard thing! Its a pumped digital shower by Mira, small black control panel in the shower area with the usual attachments. The BIV, pump etc is housed in the attic after the cold tank. Modern sleek and (hopefully) a little quieter.

Anyone have any experience with them?

The Mira Platinum is not an instant shower, it uses ur hot &cold services, the remote control "puck" can be effected by wi fi in ur house or by near by wi fi, its called picking up a rogue signal or "rfi".
Btw there is a non pumped version aswell.

Bit confused here - was told the Platinum model above is an electric shower (that's what heats the element to heat the water) there are several models of it depending on your homes systems and water supply. The one we would need is the tank / gravity fed model with the unit in the attic (ceiling fed) and this should be ideal...

Interesting to hear though about the possible interference from wifi though. Bit of a curve ball as we were hoping to go wireless wifi throughout the house. Will this definitely cause issues?...

Ur clearly been missled by someone who doesent know what they are selling the Mira Platinmum is a shower valve, pumped or gravity, it does not heat water.
You can confirm this on the mira web site.
