Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    True that.

should be Johnson Agger Skyrtl Ricky (or Kelly)

That defence is bizarre. It seems he's determined to fit Carragher in somewhere! Also, Kuyt not playing?? That bloke scores in big games!!

Won't Carra be at RB and Johnson at LB?

I hope so, theres been murmurs of Agger at lb. Carra at rb would make a lot more sense. Breaking up the Skrtel/Agger partnership makes no sense, thats been the only positive for us this season in terms of onfield progress imo.

If its Carra at rb it still doesnt make much sense to me, as surely enrique would be a better option

Why is Enrique on the bench. Unless we are going 3 at the back and Johnson filling in when we are defending. Kenny must be thinking we are going to have a lot of possession today

Carragher rarely lets us down v them.

These type of cliches won't cut it for him anymore.

Big mistake from Dalglish picking Carragher, he's well past it and it's a disaster waiting to happen.

    Think that's unfair.

Doesn't have the pace like he used to but is experienced and can still defend well.

Yet its been direct actions of Enrique and Skrtel that have led to conceding goals in recent weeks through bad marking, silly tackles and just not giving a crap and botherign to chase players and close down.

I reckon it'll be Everton's day today, long overdue a proper result against 'Pool.

1-0 to Everton, Big Tim to score, and if that happens, I stand to make a lot of money :D

That ESPN 3D tactic board could be excellent if used right.

Really don't see the point of it, just looks gimicky.

Also, think it's just on screen effects and they are actually just looking at an empty table!

Wouldn't mind this going to extra-time, with us playing Everton next week. 2-2 AET, Liverpool to win on penos.

Nice to see the Ablett family there, obviously tough for them!

Not impressed with the Liverpool line up, but it's what I expected (except the back 4). Hopefully Gerrard in the centre again won't handicap us too much, and Carra will curb the calamity propensity.

Red & Blue "Don't Buy The Sun" Banners all over the stadium! Cool!

He can be alright at Anfield on a smaller pitch in a tight game as he rarely has to use his pace but at Wembley as part of a 4-4-2 team I'd be very worried tbh.

Yes but surely still a better option than Carragher? Enrique would have probably raised his game today quite a bit given it's a semi final v Everton. Carragher can only do that so much!

Tony BarrettTonyBarretTimes A lovely and much deserved tribute to the late Gary Ablett from both sets of supporters.

Also, I'd be pretty sure the "Suarez told the S*n" thing is the usual crap from them when he did a general press interview and they pretend he talked directly to them. Has happened loads over the years with Liverpool players.

    We could have 'pelanties' today.

It was a fully sunny pitch until Carroll stepped out there.

Evertons form should see them win this but it won't,they'll fold and it will probably be an easy win for Liverpool.
