2002 Xsara Picasso - which coolant to top up?

As the title says, what type of coolant does an 02 Xsara Picasso take? I have some stuff I picked up in a filling station and I also have a can of G12 coolant from Halfords. The manual only says it should contain ethylene glycol - both cans say they do. Can't get to Citroen garage to buy manufacturer-brand.
