Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cars in 1950s ireland

I'm working on a a research project and I wonder if anyone could tell me what kind of cars were driven in 1950s Ireland, specifically in about the second half of that decade, and what type of car/cars were used at that time by the Gardai? Or a link to any site that might have this information would be most helpful.

The classics section would be best but I'd imagine your looking at the old BMC marques and other British cars, Fords, NSU's, Fiats and to a limited extent VW's
