Hi, A friend of mine recently bought a second hand car from a car dealer and after a few weeks, received a tax cert for the car in the post. How does she now go about getting the car taxed. Thanks

Go to the motor tax office with owners cert. Fill in form.
Owners Cert will have date of purchase, this is the start date for the tax.
