Thermo siphoning solar water heating system to be plumbed to existing cylinder
    • 4m from 300L triple coil cylinder to outside wall
    • the cylinder is on the first floor (~ 2.5m above ground level)
Has anyone experience of installing thermo siphoning solar systems to existing cylinders – any recommendations?

I wouldn't bother. They are absolutely useless. They will also freeze EVERY winter.
A guy round my parts installed a heap of them & then done a runner. Worst sh1te I have come across in a long time.
