Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kangoo van will not start

    my friend is looking to buy a 2011 kangoo van, its the 1.5dci, its got very light front damage but it popped the drivers airbag.. but now new airbag fitted
    The seller says that this is the reason the van will not start and needs fault cleared.... im not so sure

    Anyone know

    There is likely a fuel cut on the pump or ECU caused by the accident. The older kangoo's had a switch under the bonnet to reset it. I'm not certain about the new models though.

    The 1.5dci's have their moments. The Delphi fuel system is prone to pump wear/failure especially if less then perfect diesel is ever used.

    The renaults also require a specific Renault spec oil(RN710).

    Other then that, the Kangoo was normally a pretty strong van.
