Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

From your experience what auctions did you find the best in Ireland and the U.K. For trade sales. I few big ones around are a complete joke what people are willing to pay for cars in the auctions. Cheers guy's.

Merlin in Naas, I found that one to be very dear,
    Wilson's in Naas,
A few around Dublin. I'm just getting back into it after a few years out off the game but they have allot more retail customers than they youst to IMO.

Merlins have some great bargains but if you go there and there are a lot of private individuals then the prices go up

Agreed re:merlins being dear. I never go there anymore. The times i did the prices were off the wall...driven on by our foreign breatern, phantom buyers, phantom online bids on otal pieces of sh1t.

I attend bca and manheim auctions in the uk every week. Well organised sales featuring fresh tidy metal with real buyers and some real value.

I'm looking at getting into this game properly, I have brought back a number of cars from the UK but all bought through dealers/private sale. Is there much money to be saved in the car auctions? I know there is a element of gambling when going over to an auction to buy a car or cars. I have been looking at BCA and a few other sites, Wilson looks expensive alright. Any advise would be really appreciated.
