    Well that's good that you're so certain of your inner strength. Judging from what I went through with legal drugs, I can't imagine illegal ones. Although I've been told to attend AA meetings by doctors before but I really just can't imagine stopping drinking. It would be really horribly appalling, and I very much doubt that I'd be able to "put up with it rather than wasting my hard earned cash". It would have to be thrashed out.

    And no, nobody I know would see junkies on the street as scum. They're people who've gotten sucked into a world that they can no longer control at all.

    I am certain of my strength of Character however when drugs ripped into me I had none I just knew what my ideal situation would be ! and i was determined to get there and it was a struggle .


    As for not knowing people who view addicts on the street as sc*m you can stop b*llSh*ting because we all know at least one person who does .
    I can tell you from experience that if your on the streets the amount of dirty looks you get thrown can often fuel the need for a quick fix

    Excuse me? Nobody talks to me in that way. That was a personal attack, and I am reporting you to the moderators.

    And no, I don't know any of my friends or family to have that opinion of addicts. Everyone has their own demons. Perhaps the people I associate with are more compassionate than others, but there you are.

    Aaagh SCREAMING - just somehow lost 3000 words in an essay and library is closing - majorly pissed off!

    Sorry to hear that mango. Happened to me before, 6 months developing software and writing my thesis concurantly then my laptop goes belly up with a few weeks left to hand it all in (and I had all my college and study notes on it too). I nearly cried.

    I'd usually go for a woman my age plus 15 and no older, but for Nigella I'll make an exception. Distracting indeed, but I wouldn't complain about them if I had them, unless they caused me back pain :P

    just been having a lash at the singstar - it's good exercise for the voice. i'm pretty sure i sound like a bag of spanners on spin cycle, but i love a bit of a sing sometimes.
    even the dogs howl when i sing the one and only or if i dare venture towards unchained melody. <- for variety you understand, i'm more of a mysterious girl (guilty pleasure) but thats only because they didnt release that much that i knew on singstar ps2 (reallllllly wish they'd done a 60's one and a movie greats one)

    needed to unwind - now ill attack the sims3 methinks.....
