Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi guys, Im just wondering has anyone done the pgce in secondary school teaching in Coleraine or even had an interview with them? Im thinking of applying there for next year but cant get any subbing work this year and Im worried that they'll be real strict with teaching experience. Didnt get hdip last year so I really want it next year!! Any help would be much appreciated!

My friend interviewed with them two years running and got the 'no thanks' two years running too. To be fair though she hadn't done much in the 12 months between the first and second interviews to demonstrate any real commitment to wanting to be a teacher! I can't comment on the lack of teaching experience, but only say that as I'm sure you know, competition is intense for places. It all depends who you're up against.
