Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm with them nearly a year as they were they were offering the best cover at the most competitive price for me at renewal time. Not charging admin fees is a nice bonus. However how good are they, no idea yet as you really don't find out how good or bad an insurance company is until you have to make a claim from them.

I was with them for a couple of years via the AA, and I went with them direct this year as the AA weren't using them any more but they gave me a much better quote than the AA did with the new company (AXA). Better policy too as it includes breakdown assist which AA policies don't as they want you to take out a membership as well.

I haven't needed to deal with them for a claim yet though (and hopefully won't!), so I can't tell you what they're like from that point of view.

Another that was with them for years via the AA and stayed with them when the AA dropped them. Good price and the best the AA could do for similar cover was about 20% more. Needed to inform them that my wife who is a named driver on my policy had a claim on her policy this year and AIG got back confirming their quote straight away and the AA waited a week - no contest. Never made a claim though so no idea on that account.

Yeah have them only changed over to them, best quote by a mile!

    Then the car was stolen.
Not too bad to deal with, sometimes I'd be waiting for a person to answer the phone in the claims dept.

But then again no different to any insurance company when making a claim really.
