Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We're staying in the 15th Arr for three nights and it cost us almost 400.00! for a 4 star hotel.

We also looked at an area called Montparnasse which is supposed to be beautiful (lots of restaurants etc) and close to the metro (Paris is so spread out you won't be close to everything no matter where you stay!) Our top two there were the Atilier Montparnasse (the deluxe room with the bath was amazing - though sold out for when we wanted it!) and the Ariane Montparnasse, it might be worth checking both out.

accor are doing a sale which is 30 (or 40 if you take a minute to sign up for their free loyalty card) percent off AND they throw in free breakfasts.

they are a french company so have loads of hotels in Paris.

but to answer your question, 170 for the room for 2 nights (i.e. 85a night i.e 42per person per night) is very very good for Paris.

Paris is one of the world dearest places for Hotels.
If you want anything half fancy with a good location, be prepared to stump up for it.
If you're not paying much, don't expect much.
