    hows it going peeps :)
    going to look at a 97 megane 2morrow,now im getting it cheap but,the owner has told me under aceleration it stutters a bit would this just be the coils or something worse and thats why it cheap?
    any help would be great :)

    Why buy a car with problems? price aside, especially seeing as how an 11 year old car will be costing very little anyway, so any saving will probably be eaten up quickly by a trip to a garage to sort the issue. Theres no shortage of 2nd hand cars, just buy one that doesnt have any issues.

    yea thats what im saying to meself but i can get it so cheap its worth putting a couple of hundred into it
    any ideas on what else it could be

    Is it the 1.4 or 1.6 engine. 1.4 has a simpler and more old fashioned ignition system (SPFI, rotor arm, no coil packs etc.)

    had a look allready seems to be a cheap fix,will let you all no when ive driven her shes clean and the inside is imaculate so if she runs okish think il get her my vans(a meganevan is nearly fooked) and need transport with the kids,thanks
