4-6 weeks would be the normal amount of time allowed to a defendant (presumably an insurance company) to make a payment in respect of a Court Order. It's usually 28 days.

In reality, depending on how much pressure your solicitor puts on the other side (which will be limited in any event by the terms of the Order/Agreement that was made), you would usually expect payment to be made within 2-3 weeks.

Given the time of year, however, and people inevitably being on holidays etc. it may be nearer to the 4 weeks.

In short though, it's not unusual in the least to have to wait 4-6 weeks and not an awful lot anyone can do about it. I'd imagine the hospital/specialist/doctor will be happy enough to know that the money is coming.
