Paint that Prevents heat passing through

    Is there any kind of paint for a ceiling to prevent heat passing through from a kitchen/living room to overhead bedroom.

    You can get this in a shop that sell striped paint and sky hooks.:)

    There is insulating paint but it is useless.

    When you thing about it why would someone spend €14000 insulating the outside of their house when all they'd have to do is spend a few hundred euro painting the inside with insulating paint. I often wonder how they can advertise these products.
