Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So I'm having a conversation with my mates and we get to talking about how many priests and brothers we came into contact with when we were kids,and how many of them have been identified as paedophiles. Turns out that out of 9(3 priests and 6 brothers)there were 3 that were known(one was convicted and the other two moved…

So I'm having a conversation with my mates and we get to talking about how many priests and brothers we came into contact with when we were kids,and how many of them have been identified as paedophiles.
Turns out that out of 9(3 priests and 6 brothers)there were 3 that were known(one was convicted and the other two moved on after the allegations became public).
That's a rate of 33%,obviously this is an extremely crude and inaccurate measurement.
Anybody else?

How on earth can you possibly conclude anything on such a serious subject on boards....

If you are talking world wide, prob 1% or less.

Say there's 200 million priests in the world and 10 per cent of them are paedophiles. That's still only 20 million!
