Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why in the world would you open up a club in Finglas and then run your festival on the other side of Dublin?

Club isn't big enough to hold 100 people.

Nice big venue to run a proper show this way.

    That ok?

As with the crowd in Tallaght Im not having a go, surely somewhere like the Regency would make more sense, Im in santry so might have tried to qualify for the cash league but not travelling all the way to Red Cow for a tournament.

From sitting outside it for hours in traffic? Seeing as theyre trying to attract southsiders and wicklow people Finglas probably wasnt the best place to set up. Meh, Ill leave it, Im doing a Jeff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,724 ✭✭✭eoghan104

Cillian, Why are you having the main tournament at the same time as the freeroll? it makes no sense!!! The people who are most likley to play the main 200 game like me, iain, janet vinny at all now cant as they will be playing the freeroll. This is going to need to be looked at or I fear for the 10k GTD........ Save the freeroll for another day IMO.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,210 ✭✭✭Lurker1977

AFAIK the freeroll is Sat 13th, main tourney is Sun 14th

The freeroll is on Saturday and the 200 event is on Sunday. Cillian didn't go to school so doesn't realise that you can't have 2 days with the same date.
Any way, I'm going to donk my freeroll chips to whoever wants them and then give vinny my chips in the 200 event.

yeah ill be there. Janet told me she won a ticket to this. Did you just offer one on the tuesday game instead of the cash? i think Hush might be on the cards that night too!! (assuming its still there)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,477 ✭✭✭newbie2

Yeah man thats how it worked. janet beat me for the ticket too. In fairness I wanted cash and would be happy to buyin on the day. It'd be nice to get some of the old regulars in for this. Make it old skool. It'd also be good to get some boardsies in to. I have a feeling there'll be an overlay......

Ken is only back from Spain that mkorning so it's touch and go whether he'll make it. Will the overlay make up for the lack of fish???

I agree. Trying to drag all your local regulars to the far side of the city will not help to increase your revenue

EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO COME ALONG ON SUNDAY. ALL SPECIES OF FISH WELCOME!!! THE SATURDAY FREEROLL GAME WILL NOT BE OPEN TO ANYONE BUT I AM SURE THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF ACTION RUNNING THROUGH THE NIGHT. WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU GET UP TO 70 CASH PLAYERS IN THE ONE ROOM? THERE WILL BE SATELLITES FOR THE SUNDAY GAME THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34 ClubRoyale
