It's rarely if ever full as people avoid the measly EUR 4 by parking close to a set of pedestrian lights on the road outside the kilmacud stop. The general consensus, especially if you are driving a MPV/SUV is to park as close as possible to the pedestrian lights so that you make it difficult for drivers to see the traffic lights, and make it almost impossible for drivers to see pedestrians walk out from behind the vehicles.
DLR CoCo have shown they agree with this practice by not painting double yellow lines along the road, so therefore by definition they are claiming that it was built to originally allow cars to park on it, yet if this is the case why would it not have been built to a width that does not require cars to cross the white line just to overtake the parked cars!
