Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    HI all,
    I'm looking at trading my 2001 e39 530d with 177kmiles on her against this e60. its over the boarder and theres is some service history with it. The dealer said that he's 'know the car personally and anything that its ever needed its got'… whatever that means. He's will to do a prt/exchange depending on what he values my car at.
    The spec of my car includes: Leather, heated seats, weighted mtech gear knob, xenons, white led interior lighting, denon satnav/blutooth/cd/dvd integrated, manual...
    Im looking for advice on what people think about it? am i right in thinking that this particular model doesn't have swirl flap or timing chain issues?
    what price would be a reasonable offer on my behalf or do people think there are better (cheaper) options closer to home… don't mind dropping to 520d if the right car can be found.
