    Hi,

I was wondering if someone more familiar with the golf would be able to confirm if the MK5 1.4 16V, has two catalytic converters?

I've found the diagram on line, I can see the main CAT, but i'm wondering is there a smaller CAT in the section with the flex pipe?

Basically I have one where the flex pipe is gone and I'd like to replace it. Is the only option to weld in an after market flexi? or pay good money to replace a CAT that doesn't need replacing?

Same problem on a P307 earlier in the year and the Bosal part from the motor factors was €50.
