John Deere Lawnnower

    Thinking of buying a John Deere lawnmower - the JM46 model.

    It has a 22 inch wide cut and an electric start (also has the pull-chord). €720 before a trade-in. Will mulch or bag. Mower is quite light - 46kg.

    Is controlled by a "Mowmentum Drive" - has anyone experience of this in other John Deere mowers ? Does it give good control, when tight control is needed, e.g. when mowing around shrubs?

    A lot of negative feedback about it on the Web, from the USA.

    What I really want to know is - is it reliable ?
