Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Got a demo on it yesterday by MS. Anyone else looked at it? It seems like a really nice tool. Allows you to use the DirextX API through XAML (XML type language).

    Think of flash you can program with HTML that uses directX and works both on websites and desktops.

    Seems pretty straight forward as well! rewriting the interface of my FYP in it.

    Have done quite a bit of work with it. You can build some really great looking apps. The 3d features are really good and you can even import models from 3ds max etc.

    Any idea on how to intergrate conctrols from winforms? i.e web browser control

    WPF applications will not run on websites. Microsoft have developed light weight version called WPF/e for this. It only has a small subset of regular WPF features, it is essentially Microsofts attempt to do what adobe does with flex and flash. WPF/e does not have the same 3D rendering power of full WPF as it cannot use directx (as it needs to run on non MS platforms).

    WPF is impressive all the same, it should be one to watch for the future.
