Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    cheers colmo,

unfortunately i have covered that base, they have a sales section which cannot release either documentary because there is footage from another tv channel in it....

I remember asking RTE about getting a copy of the 1798 series and got much the same answer as you.
There were no youtube or RTE player back then though!

If it was an independent production company who made it they might give a copy provided it's not for commercial reasons. Like to a student
For example, a production company that did work with TG4 was over in History forum a few months back answering questions and taking email address so they can contact people interested in a copy
Find the production company and ask. You might get rejected, all you can do is ask :)

thats super I will investigate that, i want the docs for lecturing...

the problem is that rte used footage that another company has rights over...so its a little messier!!

    frustrating, but thanks again!!
