Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Springboard Scheme and Back to Education Form

I am on Jobseekers Benefit and am doing a course through Springboard starting this September. I have been given a back to education form to fill out. It says that you can put down your bank details or your post office for payment.
I was wondering does anyone know if this means you can get your payments straight into your bank account, instead of getting them in the post office when the course starts?

Just wondering did you get any more info on your question and are you absolved of signing on when you are on the course?

Hi tiggerka, can you come back on this please.

Did you get the BTEA. I am having trouble getting it off them as the springboard courses are seen as part-time?

When on BTEA you are not expected to sign monthly and you can have your payment paid direct to your bank account.

You cannot get BTEA for a springboard course - these springboard courses are allowable under the Part Time education option - you are supposed to be still looking and available for work whilst doing a Springboard course.
