Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Brian Bates, the 'video vigilante,' trawls the streets of his hometown, Oklahoma City, following 'Johns' who pick up street prostitutes. He waits for them to engage in their activities and then confronts the 'John,' capturing everything on video. He has hundreds of these videos on youtube account and has his own website where he names and shames those involved.

    There are some really disturbing videos that he has recorded outside schools and playgrounds.

    So, what do you make of this guy?

    Well he might like to work on eradicating drug addiction, child abuse, poverty, and alcoholism first.
    Then maybe ensuring excellent free education to all leading to very well paying jobs for everyone in the world.
    Then of course getting all of mankind to treat everyone with respect.

    Prostitution often a symptom of wider problem. It is not a stand alone issue.

    Yeah, there are videos of him confronting pimps too. Apparently he's been doing this for years and is really well known in the States.

    He seems like a highly manipulative man, using vulnerable prostitutes to aggrandise himself and make money. He comes across as creepy and weird.
    Why didn't he just pass on a message from Yvonne to her daughter instead of filming it (with plenty of jump cuts) and putting it on the web where he can monetise it?
    Because he's lining his pocket on other people's misery is why.
    If he's going to appoint himself the judge of other people's morality, he leaves himself open to me judging him, the creepy manipulative voyeur.

    I hate seeing sh!te like that interview, I spend a lot of my time listening to people's stories like that womans. However, I respect their stories and their life, I wonder if he paid her to do that interview, I wouls imagine so.

    That womans story deserves to be respected not thrown on the net as part of someone crusade, in my opinion he just used that woman.
