Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Here's a tip: Don't post copyrighted stuff. If you get false flagged, you can appeal a strike on your account.

    how come all copyrighted videos are not taken down. I was warned for posting a video with content from RTE after it passed 50k views and it was removed. yet most videos are breaking the copyright rule and still allowed stay up.

    Nope, not necessarily. Lots of people put up videos about other peoples videos which is covered by fair use, but get their videos taken down and channels removed. The process is automatic. Sure, some people post clips from TV shows or movies that get removed on copyright grounds, but that isn't all the story.

    Someone has to report it, and then there's an automatic reaction to remove it. YouTube does it because if they didn't, they'd be sued by the big movie companies, et cetera for infringing copyright, so they take a better safe than sorry to flagged content. Even when its BS.

    That's mad. I should have been banned from youtube many a year ago, but they must love my garbage or :confused: else i would have been junked. In all fairness i got to a stage a while back when i got the Master last warning of using other peoples stuff, as i alway's do but it was close but i still have the cigar :D

    Can't take youtube at all seriously these days. Still disputing some stuff with them on one of my channels.

    Two vdeos are uploaded on the same day (I think about the same time too). One in HD 720p the other in 480p. Which one would you be suspicious of? Which one would you report?
