Your going to try do them on your own?

The lab work although helpful for understanding you would be unlucky to get asked to produce evidence of, so you'd likely get away with it.

For what it's worth I think unless you've a degree in science your pure mad to take them on as an external as its a massive ask. ...Actually I have a degree and I'm repeating them amongst others in a school :-)
