    switched to 3 yesterday.
    was able to activate sim (can make calls and txt).
    manually configured apn settings (on huawei gs300) but can't get on to 3g or edge etc.

    speedtest.net (in differend areas of dublin):
    ping 675ms
    down 19kps
    up 31 kbps

    called tech support - useless.

    what can be done?

    The My3 service is down for upgrades till 8 am Monday, if you are still having trouble after that it may be a local cell issue. If you are not able to get a 3 signal then you are on the Vodafone network as they have an agreement with 3. But should all be ok by Monday.
