Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone have any advice for curing GERD Acid Reflux, obviously cutting drinking is obvious but is there any foods I should avoid?

First go see you doctor. GERD might be caused by any number of things and you should get yourself checked out.

My doc recommended the following to alleviate symptoms:
    Elevate your head at night.
Don't eat 3 hours before bed.
Don't drink (anything, not even water) 2 hours before bed.
Foodwise, she said keep a diary to track when it flares up as different people have different triggers.

Please do go see your doctor though. Dealing with symptoms isn't the same as dealing with the cause.

Good advice from Dibkins. I can't stick to the not eating before bed as i throw up once the acid starts to build in my stomach. recently had my Zoton dose doubled, which bizarrely seems to have made my GERD symptoms worse.

Gastroenterologists are the best to deal with this from my experience, see if your GP will give you a referral, more expensive but they deal with the area in question.
