Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Paddypower have opened up markets for wrestlemania, can't link here at the minute as I'm on the phone but will do later on. Daniel Bryan at 6/4 and Taker 2/5!

5/6 for the entrances being over or under 12 minutes.

Taker down to 1/7 now XD
Can't believe they are doing this. Tempted to throw a tenner on HHH...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,888 ✭✭✭Charisteas

Surely betting on Taker is free money? I'm tempted to throw 700 on Taker to win 100 profit.

I'd be amazed if PP don't pull this before the night ends....

Does anyone use PP's site for online betting? Now I'm working, I'm tempted to start throwing the odd €5 on Man United games or the likes, and am wondering if PPs is a decent place to do that...

talk about free money, taker should be 1/50

might have a punt on Jericho @ 11/8

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

I think the wwe title match have good odds.
Sticking a fiver on both jericho and punk will get you a return of €19.55. How can that be possible? Its essentially free money!

  • Registered Users Posts: 66 ✭✭johnbobtheslob

how will they manage a screwjob ending or double countout lol

Id assume that would just create a refund. Same as if a football match is called off.

Just a heads up lads. One of my friends works for Paddy Power and he told me that the wrestling is more fixed than a Pakistani cricket match.

Don't know if it's true or not though.

for you to get that payout they both have to win, which isnt possible

    both of them cant win.

they've added Show Vs Rhodes too, 5/6 the pair

and Orton 1/2 Vs Kane 6/4

Aye but they both can't win. You get about 8 quid if Punk wins and 11 if Jericho wins.

Undertaker seems like free money. I can't see WWE giving up that 20-0 DVD.

    Big Show at 5/6?

Pretty sure he'll win after all the taunts about his poor wrestlemania record.

I know nothing about bets. :o

I can't see it being true. I can't see WWE giving Paddy Power info on the results of the matches so in theory the odds are based on about the same amount of info that anyone here could use to predict the matches themselves.

Wow, John Cena is free money. There is no way WWE can put over someone in the Main event of Wrestlemania that will leave the next night......oh wait

What are the odds of ANYONE caring about the Divas match.

PP have given odds on soaps and TV shows before so I don't see the difference tbh.

Tempted to go with a Rock and Bryan double but I don't have an account, anyone know if they'll take these bets in their shops?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,166 ✭✭✭Beefy78

    I'm sure they will.

Man Taker 2/5 would have cleared accounts.

They did for a Street Fighter bet they were running before. Take note of the odds and whatnot before you go in as they may not be fully aware of it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,166 ✭✭✭Beefy78

Also they don't seem to be offering doubles or accumulators. Only single bets.

If you go in and ask at the counter and they say no get them to phone through to head office

I've been betting on wrestling for years http://www.facebook.com/ThrillBookmakers we have a rumble, EC and mania session every year with a Bookie in the room. He even takes phone bets.

I just bet €2,000 on Randy Orton to win. When he wins i'll win €1,000. Not bad

    0% chance Kane will win.

****ing hell, I was wondering if I'd bet too much by putting €40 on Orton.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,473 ✭✭✭✭Super-Rush

William Hill were offering odds on last years mania.

    Thread on it here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=71497355

Think i might lumpon The Rock and Sheamo,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,916 ✭✭✭2nd Row Donkey

I'd have put my house on Jerry the king Lawlor beating M Cole last year but it didnt happen.

The only shoe-in is Taker surely.

WWE could ruin a fair few bets with a Kane win. But Orton is clearly going to pick up the W

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,166 ✭✭✭Beefy78

I'd have thought so, but Orton has been dominating the feud up until now. If they're planning on extending it until the next PPV, a Kane win can't be ruled out.

I honestly don't believe they let you place a 2k bet on a novelty market. You are more than welcome to prove me wrong

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,338 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Show is the only one I'd be relatively sure about winning outside of Taker. Orton will probably win but there is a good chance Kane will have been promised a big win this year and this could be it imo.

  • Registered Users Posts: 136 ✭✭Barcelonafan

Does anyone think taker will lose??

    Damn straight he didn't.

The max bet PP is allowing you to put on any of the matches is €140.

Really wish they were allowing accumulators. Would be much more craic.

What will wwe think of everyone betting on taker to win at mania..change the outcome perhaps?naaaa

Its all going so well for GTR but then Middlesborough lose to Cardiff & he is out €800, accumulators NEVER AGAIN.

so if taker is 1/7 how much would you have bet to win anything, or would you win anything at all? (know sfa about betting odds)

    krudler wrote: »

Basically 1 7th of whatever you bet plus your bet.

So if you put on a tenner for taker to win you will win €1.43 plus your tenner back. €11.43 altogether.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,525 ✭✭✭glenjamin

Not much value lumping on Taker if the max is €114 you can bet.

Rhodes and Orton at 5/6 and 4/11 is worth a punt. If you can do a double then you'd get 5/2. I'm gonna go down to the bookies tomorrow and throw a hundred on that I reckon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,189 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Reminds me of Who Shot Mr Burns, some Americans who knew the outcome came over and won loads from Irish and English bookies. May be tweet JR and see if he wants a cut of the action.
