Anyone else having really bad lag problems since the last in game update on Android?

The last week or two game driving me mental it was perfect before hand so its not my phone or the specs of the phone.

On Android I've had persistent issues with the game auto refreshing, crashing and I've noticed the lag as well.

Also the game has updated with extra items for purchase in relation to the current event. There's some stuff that requires donuts and others that need elixir. Nothing major, a few items that produce elixir and gold every few hours.

Does anyone know if you can have more than one simpsons account linked up to facebook? My son started playing simpsons on the tablet during the summer and has got me hooked on it this last week or so. Has got my husband playing it on his iphone aswell. However myself and the young lad are disagreeing over who does what and I was thinking of downloading the game to my phone. Can I link up with my facebook friends but with my own separate simpsons game. The version we have on the tablet is linked to my facebook friends.

Edited: Level 44 in game update seems to have fixed the bug!

ANDROID USERS DO NOT UPDATE FROM THE PLAYSTORE!

Since updating the app last night, I can not visit friends without the game crashing nearly every visit.

I tried a fresh reinstall with no luck.

Sorry to my friends that I can not visit at present. I'm still able to use my nerds on random towns.

In Game update to level 44!

Two new friendship(/Frink) points prizes as well.

I think the update fixed the bug I reported earlier.

I'm only about 1000 gold away from the last (crappy) prize, and annoyed there aren't free donuts for continuing, so I won't be bothering with this whole nerd crap after tomorrow.

Annoying as the whacking day update was in ways, the prizes in that have not been matched by anything else since.

IMO no it's not. I had high hopes for this especially after the stonecutters event and so far it's just downright irritating me!

I'm finding the Nerds task very slow, no real incentives to progress with the challenge.

All I seem to be doing is gaining a few nerds, attack a few randomers, and updates for Barbarian homer or the castle don't seem to add any value to the game.

Artie Ziff now in our games. My main characters are earning elixir and won't be free for another 5 and half hours. So can't get into the quests yet.

I demolished my sit n spin (or whatever it's called) and rebuilt it. I was halfway tob44 and that did it. Takes 3 days though.

By playing nearly two years. Not really getting through them fast. Plus, when you get to the higher levels, the XP flies in. I'm getting 3/4 bonus level ups, waiting for EA to release new content.

Tbh, it's more fun being in your position.

As an aside, is the squid port tile glitch still working for people who have just started building it?

yeah clash of clones a complete waste of time.
no decent new characters, and having to spend donuts on walls and gates is a rip off

Only saved by the level 45 update.

When are EA gonna learn and give us a decent update with Maggie and Sideshow Bob as playable characters

I have gotten bored of the clash of clones update. It isnt as fun when the prizes arent as good!!! After getting the elixir bundle, I havent really been trying, the only thing I want to do is finish decorating boxingham palace. I finished upgrading Lisa and Homer to level ten, and the game says it will display this after the event. Anybody know what that means?

I've about 340 donuts now, haven't spent any in ages. I'll wait a while for Gill's next offer, whenever that happens, but notwithstanding, I'll probably get Hank Scorpio and the evil lair, and maybe Barney and the bowlarama, although I'll need more I'd say, but I'm in no rush.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but apparently when this ends we are straight into the Halloween event. As boring as this event is, they seem to always deliver for Halloween so I'm hopefull, especially after the Stonecutters event.

Probably around the same time as the clash of clans update ends. Sometimes a few days later so in the next week or two. Usually on a Thursday.

Wow, I may have went a little overboard with the update then

PS: The update also brings a new look and fell to the game.
Things I've noticed are, completely full screen on android, no soft key buttons on nexus 5 or 7.
The menu has been re-worked too.
Also, it asked it me my age when I booted up after the update!
